The Rock Resort Policy
1. Payment Requirements
- Full Payment: A full payment must be made at least two (2) weeks prior to your scheduled trip.
- Deposit: If the deposit is not received within 24 hours of booking, please contact our customer service to confirm room availability.
- Priority of Bookings: In cases of multiple bookings for the same date, priority will be given to customers who complete payment first.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Date Changes: Bookings may be amended to a different date with a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice prior to the original booking date.
- Non-Refundable Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
3. Alcohol Policy
- Bringing Alcohol: Bringing your own beer, wine, liquor, or soft drinks is discouraged, as the resort offers beer for sale.
- Corkage Fees: Customers who bring their own alcohol will incur corkage fees, covering cleaning and associated resort services.
4. Boat Departure Information
- Schedule: Departure times are determined by the boat company and will be communicated 2 to 7 days prior to departure. Typical departure times are 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, subject to confirmation one (1) week prior.
- Arrival at Jetty: Visitors are required to arrive at the jetty 30 minutes before departure for luggage loading and boarding.
- Resort Liability: The Rock Resorts Sdn Bhd is not liable for delays, cancellations, or postponements of boat services. Customers should liaise directly with the boat operator for updates.

- Assistance: Upon arrival at the jetty, provide your order number to Mr. Muss for boarding or shuttle arrangements. Shuttle bookings must be made at least two (2) days in advance.
6. Departure from The Rock Resort
- Check-Out: Visitors must gather at the resort lobby at 11:00 AM after checkout and bill settlement for departure.
- Boat Departure: Boats will depart within 30 to 90 minutes of the scheduled time.
Disclaimer:
The boat schedule is subject to change without prior notice due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. All customers are required to confirm their departure details with the resort operator at least two (2) days prior to the scheduled departure date for
final confirmation. The resort operator shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, or compensation arising from changes to the boat schedule. Cancellations due to such changes are not permitted and will not be eligible for refunds or compensation.
7. Visitor Details for Port Clearance
All visitors must provide the following details:
- Full Name
- NRIC/Passport Number
- Emergency Contact Name and Number
- For Divers: Diving Certification, Last Dive Date, and Total Dives Completed
- Personal Travel Insurance: Visitors are strongly encouraged to purchase personal travel insurance, with coverage for activities undertaken during the trip.

10. Beer & Beverage Policy
- Pre-Order: Beer can be pre-ordered at RM350 per carton.
- Prohibition: Bringing your own beer, wine, liquor, or soft drinks is strictly prohibited. Kindly pre-order or purchase beverages on the island.
- The hotel has applied corkage fees for any beverage and any kind of beer that customers bring themselves.
11. Diving & Snorkeling Activities
- All participants must sign the "Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding" under Aqua Dive Spot Sdn Bhd (Business Registration: 1082140V).
- Snorkeling Equipment: Visitors are responsible for their own snorkeling gear (mask, fins, life jacket, snorkel). Charges apply for lost or damaged items.
- Diving Gear: Equipment rental is available at an additional cost. Loss or damage will result in replacement charges.
- Facilities Fees: Refer to the list of services on the official website.
12. Transport Services
- Rates (subject to change during peak seasons or public holidays):
- Singapore to Mersing: RM800 (Innova), RM900 (Starex/G10)
- Johor to Mersing: RM550 (Innova), RM650 (Starex/G10)
- Kuala Lumpur to Mersing: RM900 (Innova), RM1,100 (Starex/G10)
13. Meal Schedule
- Breakfast: 7:30 AM
- Lunch: 12:30 PM
- Tea Time: 3:00 PM
- Dinner (includes one BBQ dinner): 7:30 PM
- Supper: 10:00 PM
14. Resort Activities
Visitors must register at the reception counter and gather at the resort lobby 15 minutes before scheduled activities:
- Sunrise Hiking: 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM
- Board Games: 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM
- Karaoke/Lounge: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Stargazing Tour: 9:30 PM - 10:30 PM
15. Internet Access
Complimentary satellite internet is available at the resort lobby, restaurant, and lounge.
16. Hotel Facilities & Amenities
- Included: bath towels, beach towels, premium bedding, cups, kettles, bath shampoo, and hair shampoo (for in-room use only).
- Replacement Costs: Damaged or lost items will incur the following charges:
- Bath Towel: RM200
- Beach Towel: RM200
- Comforter: RM450
- Mattress Cover: RM180
- Pillow: RM120
17. Booking Cancellation Policy
- Bookings are non-refundable but may be postponed with a minimum notice of fourteen (14) days prior to the travel date.
18. Food
- The resort offers an Asian buffet-style menu (no pork or lard). Vegetarian meals must be pre-ordered.

20. The Rock Resort reserves the right to reschedule boat departures in the event that the minimum required headcount is not met. In such cases, guests will be offered two alternatives: (1) reschedule to join another group, or (2) charter a private boat at their own expense.

21. Consent for Use of Media
By entering or participating in any activities at The Rock Resorts Premises, operated by The Rock Resorts Sdn Bhd, Aqua Dive Spot Sdn Bhd, and its associated companies, you acknowledge and consent that any photos or videos taken during your visit may be used for promotional and marketing purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, social media platforms, websites, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
The Rock Resorts Sdn Bhd, Aqua Dive Spot Sdn Bhd, and associated companies reserve the right to post, publish, or otherwise distribute such media for promotional and marketing activities without further consent or compensation.
